Praise to the Prophet Pbuh

Amid the confusion, the chaos and the pain
A man emerged and Muhammad was his name
And walking with nothing but Allah as his aid
And the mark of a prophet between his shoulder blades
In a cave in mount hira, the revelation came
Read o Muhammad, read in Allah’s name
May the blessings of Allah be on al-mustafaa (the selected one)
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa (the chosen one)

Muhammad, peace be upon his soul
The greatest of prophets, Islam was his only goal
Muhammad, salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
From among all the prophets, Muhammad was the last
As his was a mission of the greatest task
There was only moral degeneration
People clung to idol adoration
For all nations, he was al-mukhtaar (the preferred one)
So was he praised by Allah, al-ghaffaar
The bearer of glad tidings, al-basheer
Leading into light, as-seeraj-al-muneer (lamp of Radiance)

In handling the wicked, he had the best of skill
He pacified with tolerance and goodwill
The best of morals he aimed to attain
All he accomplished through suffering and pain
Reviving imaan as al-muthakkir (the reminder)
He is known in the qur'aan as al-mud-dath-thir (covered up)
Only he was given the honour of miraaj
Unique was this glory to Muhammad as-seeraj (the lamp)

He was ad - da'ee illAllah hil azheem
All hadi elaa seerauteem mustakeem
His mission complete, his held in great esteem
Allah praised him as bil-khuluqil azeem
May the blessings of Allah be on mustafaa
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa
So perfect were his morals, so justly did he rule
Darkness had vanished and the word was full of noor

Balagha ’l-ula bikamalihi
Kashafa ’d-duja bijamalihi
Hasunat jami‘u khisalihi
Sallu alayhi wa ‘alihi

Muhammad, peace be upon his soul,
The greatest of Prophets, Islam was his only goal.

Salaam 'alaika ya Rasulullah.. Salaam maulidurRasul =)

Salaam'alaykum.

A visit to MWTI has always lighten up my day.
Indah sungguh dapat bertemu rakan seperjuangan. =)

And as for today, I've ransacked my cupboard and brought out my Nahul Arabi Vol 2. I really need to read up again. Looks like I have to be very disciplined. hmff.
Reminds me of Pre- O level mugging last year. Oh what joy! I miss those days too! Those stressing days. Heh.

Then,in the midst of searching for some blank/unused/recycled school exercise books, I found this.

Aha~ kenangannye.......~~ tsk tsk.

Those scribbled notes, with new Arabic words, points noted down, so called "scripts"..
(hah! hafizah ade script pun bukannye dibace the night before..Tido lagi ade. -_-)

And I miss Ustadz's trips to library and search for Arabic storybooks which are to be summarised. ='(

TIT FOR TAT

It is a law of nature that whatever action we take in this world, there is always a reaction. If we do good, we stand to gain a good reward. If we do bad, we should expect a bad outcome ultimately. "What you sow, so you reap" is a popular saying.

The Holy Qur'an has also guided us on this subject. It says:

If you do good, you do good to yourselves. (likewise)

If you do evil, you do evil to yourselves.

(Qur'an: Chapter 17, Verse 7)

One of the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) was very fond of this verse of the Qur'an. He used to recite it loudly and repeatedly wherever he went.

A Jewish woman who had heard him once wanted to prove him wrong and thus make him unpopular among his people. She thought up a plot against him.

She prepared some sweets mixed with poison and sent them to him as a present. When he received them, he went out of the city with them. On the way, he met two men who were returning home from a long journey. They appeared tired and hungry, so he thought of doing them a good turn. He offered them the sweets. Of course, he was not aware that they were secretly mixed with poison. No sooner had the two travellers taken the sweets, they collapsed and died. When the news of their death reached Medina, the city where the Prophet resided, the man was arrested. He was brought in front of the Prophet and he related what had actually happened. The Jewish woman who had mixed poison with the sweets was also brought to the court of the Prophet. She was stunned to see the two dead bodies of the travellers there. They in fact turned out to be her own two sons who had gone away on a journey.

She admitted her evil intention before the Prophet and all the people present. Alas, the poison she had mixed in the sweets to kill the companion of the Prophet had instead killed her own two sons.

What a splendid example of a tragic reaction to a bad action. It shows how one reaps what he sows.

"Do as you would be done by" are words of wisdom from the learned and wise men of the past. They teach us to do good to others in the same way as we like others to do good to us.

The Atheist Teacher

A young woman teacher with obvious liberal tendencies explains to her class of small children that she is an atheist. She asks her class if they're atheists too. Not really knowing what atheism is but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like fleshy fireworks. There is, however, one exception. A beautiful girl named Zainab has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
"Because I'm not an atheist."

Then, asks the teacher, "What are you?" "I'm a Muslim." The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Zainab why she is a Muslim. "Well, I was brought up knowing and loving God. My mom is a Muslim, and my dad is a Muslim, so I am a Muslim."
The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly, "what if your mom was a moron,and your dad was a moron, - what would you be then?" She paused, and smiled. "Then," says Zainab, "I'd be an atheist."

Salaam'alaykum

First and foremost, I would like to apologise if my previous post was somehow heart-wrenching. It hurt me more, (for I was the writer) than it hurt you. I suppose the joy and love of friendship could not be put into words. As the Arabic saying goes; There is no explanation for love.

Dear Atiqah, you're calling me evil? Now that's not something nice to say, isnt it? Lol, step Supernanny pulak..I suppose we shall not think that way about our different paths. Yes, of course, I do love and miss you too dearest sister. And I won't find another Siti Nur Atiqah like you. You're the only one who can cope with and bless (!) my irritating act of poking your cheeks. And I'm sure I'd miss doing that sister, for we wont be seeing each other so often. But hey, it's the thoughts and du'aa that matter, right? If so, I rest my case and we shall leave the rest to Allah. AND if eunos banjir, sudi-sudilah datang sengkang, ade Mas per.. Ade Kak Aleh.. awk leh makan muffin seberapa banyak mungkin. ;) Remember sis, i love you. But Allah loves you more than I do. So no need to worry k? Mwahhh~! *hugs tiQs* =)

Dear Athifah, of course I miss you! If I were to include all of my classmates' names in that entry, pendek kata berlinangan lah air mata nanti..
Hidup kena maintain, kan? huhu. Anyway, teruskan intisyar mahabbah wal mawaddah bainannaas sebab...Ogresses rule! ^-^

Dear Farahin, hehe.. tu wasiat dari awk ke- tengok2 kan dia? Okay okay, insya Allah boleh ONLY if you don't go poking the flight's wheels with the intention of getting it punctured. Please awk. Kite tau awk tak zalim kan? (lol) I'll miss you. And Doraemon's so cute, I'm starting to like doughnuts too. k merepek. =D

Dear Radhiah, awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak!!!!!!!!! Sampai hati awak cakap kite tak sudi jumpe awak.. Remuk seh hati kite.. 'afwan kalau sampai skrg tak terkasi-kasi awk TYS (lol). k kalau kite free one day kite MESTI pergi rumah awk, jadi FedEx. Rindu lah pulak. And kirim salam kaki awk. Moga2 cepat sembuh. Leh klua sesame, jalan2 sampai langgar tembok. (argh! rindu mardhiah pulak!) k k maintain... Get well soon ukhti. I miss you too. =)

To all sec 4 mwtians (2006), kite mintak maaf bnyk2 atas wrongdoings kite. sorry bnyk2 tau korg. maafkan kite k? halalkan makan minum kite.. klw kite ade hutang dgn korg, pls blg kite. I know I will never find such good friends like you in the future. If I were to leave this fanaa' world early, perhaps the next moment I end this post, I'd like you to know that all of you are always in my prayers k? Kalau tak dpt2 jumpe pat sini pun, jumpe pat akhirat sana pun jadilah. lagi POWER. Amin..=)

and belly dancing is no easy dance. dear me. (lol.tak penting.)

Last words from me,

Salaam'alaykum

Home-made muffins remind me of Secondary 4/2 (2006), or rather more specifically, Muhd. Syafiq bin Salimi.
(haha!)

Ouh anyway, the photo was taken by lil sister Mas- she was meddling with the good old DGcam.. and then flash!
No, there wasn't any clicks, but the flash was followed by a scream from grouchy eldest sister Min. (lol. SISTERS..)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ustazah was busy listening/checking, or rather known as tasmi'. students' memorisation of surah Al-Baqarah.
I could still recall the peaceful atmosphere during our Al-Qur'an lessons. Peaceful? Challenge2 nak hafal tu adelah..
Haha.
Well, of course, it has ALWAYS been peaceful..at least for me, that is.
Since I was last in the sitting arrangement of my row, which literally means I was the farthest from the whiteboard, I was always 'sheltered' by my mates. In other words, unseen to the teachers' eyes.. only if they are sitting on the teacher's chair, at the teacher's desk. Hoho. What fun I had!Erm. Well, not quite much of fun though.. for I could not sleep during lessons, despite my strategic place. Cuz the teachers, especially my ustadz would frequently call out my name, asking questions, and ending up answering them himself. LoL. I suppose he was just inspecting if i had dozed off. Thank you, ustadz. =)
However contented I am/was with my place in class, it was rather ironic that the girl *coughsAincoughs* who sat right in front of the teacher's desk could fall asleep, with the teacher explaining interesting concepts right next to her. So is that weird, or is that bizarre?? hmff.
Oh yes, back to the lesson on that particular day. Hmm.. what had happened?
Well, nothing much happened.. I was done with memorising the specfic page for that particular week. I looked around- mates are memorising, some are chatting and doing their homework. I've done mine too. So..now what?
hmm..boringnye.. *looks out of the window*
hmm..
Aha!!.......*takes out a packet of biscuits from schoolbag*
Bismillah... *bites into the hard yet sweet biscuits*
Hehe. Tengah kunyah sedap2............
Nadiah: Hafi, hafi..!
Me: (Erk. o.0??)
Nadiah: Ouhh....Makan eh!! Bilang ustazah!! (nasib baik lah suara nadiah tu mmg semulajadi perlahan...lol)
Me: *grins sheepishly*
Nadiah: eh, mintak sikit. (sits down on empty chair beside me)
Me: (stunned.pause.) huh? ohh amik uh. hehe
Nadiah and I ate secretly, while discussing about stuff.
The bell rang, a minor stampede was heard outside the classroom. Ustazah went out and we prepared for recess.
I was clearing my desk full of books and then...
"Hafizah! Kau makan ape tadi?"
Me: (erk. woopsie. k lah..mengalah jugak.... bilang je lah) Biskut. Kau nak?
Syafiq: (walks towards my desk)
Fyi, my seat was the farthest from the board, while his was the nearest. So it was like halfway round the..class. XD
Syafiq: Kau lain kali tak yah tanye. (upon receiving my biscuit)
Nadiah: (simultaneously choked on her biscuit- the attack of the giggles)
Rindu nye seludup beraneka jenis makanan dalam library utk breakfast time recess.
Rindu nye buat benda Busyra sampai stress.
Rindu nye bahas dlm bahasa Al-Quran..
Selama 3 tahun kat MWTI, ana tak pernah terfikir seh kite akan jadi mcm ni.. tsk tsk...
I thought everything would stay the same.. I didn't have time to think about all these stuff. I guess I wasn't prepared. It all happened....so fast..
Nanti ada yang dah kat Pahang, dah kat sana, dah kat situ... ='(
Ya Allah...
pahit sungguh perpisahan ini...
tetapi jika ianya kerana Engkau, maka akan berubahlah ia, menjadi semanis-manisnya..
Aww..Best friends forever .. (^-^)
It has been a pleasure attending the Xplore Furqan Camp @ Ar-Raudhah Mosque. Despite being held for only 2 days, a lot have I learnt from the event. Apart from meeting my dear seniors, I even got a chance to watch one of Prof Harun Yahya's renown videos! Alhamdu lillah! Syukran to IMPIAN.. dah lama seh mengidam nak tengok. Heh.
Al-Mumtahinah; Wanita yg diuji. That was my group's name. I really love that surah. And after my teammates have recited it, they too love it. Of course, the words of Allah, when read, are music to our ears. =)
All in all, the camp was a success. Hamdan lillah. New bonds of friendship were made. And speaking of which, I've met my friends too yesterday!!
Shared Perpspectives Seminar- Builiding Resilient Muslim Youths- had brought us together.
Another memorable moment in my life to be treasured.
I am missing them already. =(
May Allah bless us all. Amin.
Unfolding the Rose
A young, new Ustadh (teacher) was walking with an older, more seasoned Ustadh (teacher) in the garden one day. Feeling a bit insecure about what Allah Ta'ala had for him to do, he was asking the older ustad for some advice.
The older Ustadh walked up to a rosebush and handed the young
Ustadh a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals.
The young ustad looked in disbelief at the older ustadh and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the Will of Allah for his life and ministry.
But because of his great respect for the older Ustadh, he proceeded to try to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact...
It wasn't long before he realized how impossible this was to do.
Noticing the younger ustadh's inability to unfold the rosebud without tearing it, the older Ustadh began to recite the
following poem...
It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of Allah's design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
Allah opens this flower so sweetly,
Then in my hands they die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of Allah's design,
Then how can I have the wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
So I'll trust in Allah for leading
Each moment of my day.
I will look to Allah for His guidance
Each step of the way.
The pathway that lies before me,
Only Allah knows.
I'll trust Him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.
Dua Sahabat di Padang Pasir
Ada dua orang yang lama berkawan. Mereka minat pandu kapal terbang. Satu hari kapal terbang mereka terhempas di padang pasir. Bush, boom. Hancur semua.
Yang duduk di belakang marah pada pemandu.
"Itulah kau, aku cakap isi minyak diesel, kau isi minyak cap kapak. Bla bla bla."
Mereka pun bertengkar. Daripada bertengkar, mulalah hendak bertumbuk.
Yang duduk di belakang tumbuk si drebar. Drebar tidak balas. Dia tunduk dan tulis di atas pasir pakai jari, "Hari ini kawan baik saya telah menumbuk saya."
Mereka pun terus berjalan dan berjalan. Akhirnya tiba di satu kawasan berair. Si drebar tidak sabar, terus terjun dalam air. Dia lupa dia tidak boleh berenang.
Apa lagi, lemaslah. "Kacau daunlah kau ni," kata kawan dia yang seorang lagi. Tetapi dia tidak membuang masa. Sambil-sambil merungut, terus terjun dalam air. Kira hero betullah, bukan hero bercakap saja.
Si drebar berjaya diselamatkan. Lepas baik daripada mamai-mamai, drebar terus pergi ke batu besar yang ada dekat dengan kawasan air itu. (Batu itu bukan baru letak sebab mahu sedapkan cerita. Memang ada di situ, cuma tidak sebut awal-awal sebab hendak bagi suspen).
Dia cari batu kecil dan dengan susah payah ukir atas batu besar,
"Kawan saya telah menyelamatkan saya."
Si penyelamat dan juga jagu tinju ini peliklah.
"Eh kau ini. TAdi kau tulis atas pasir. Sebab apa sekarang susah-susah ukir atas batu?"
Jawab si drebar, "Beginilah adat berkawan. Apabila berlaku perselisihan, hendaklah kita 'menulisnya atas pasir'. Angin gurun akan cepat-cepat bertiup dan terus hilang kesannya. Tetapi apabila kawan kita menolong kita, hendaklah kita 'memahatnya di atas batu'. Dengan itu, kebaikan akan sentiasa melekat di hati kita dan sukarlah persahabatan itu terjejas."
Adakah ana syahid dalam perjalanan menghafal ?
ana akur semua tu.
bukan ana suka dan rela jadi syahid pun.
ana tau diri ana tak hebat mana mcm mujahidat lain..tak hebat pun.dah tewas, a.k.a syahid.
Cuba fikir balik; siapa yg nak lari dariNya, klw dah dekat dgnNya?
Do you really think i'd like to quit?
After my last lesson that day, Ustazah nasihatkan;
"berapa ramai siswazah2 di singapura yg dah jadi hafiz/ah sendiri. cuma tak masuk program ni je. mungkin mereka tak dapat masuk sebab tak cukup credits, tapi kerana semangat, mereka jadi lebih baik dprd yang dapat masuk."
biarlah di'label' begitu oleh manusia
asalkan jgn di'label' oleh Tuhan.
Betul tak?
Two men were on a plane on a business trip when a Muslim couple boarded
the plane and were seated right in front of them. The two men, eager to have some fun, started talking loudly. "My boss is sending me to Saudi Arabia", the one said, "But I don't want to go...too many Muslims there!"
The Muslim couple noticeably heard and grew uncomfortable. The other guy laughed,
"Oh, yeah, my boss wanted to send me to Pakistan but I
refused...WAY too many Muslims!" Smiling, the first man said, "One time I was in Iran but I HATED the fact that there were so many Muslims!"
The couple fidgeted.
The other guy responded, "Oh, yeah...you can't go ANYWHERE to get away from them...the last time I was in FRANCE I ran into a bunch of them too!". The first guy was laughing hysterically as he added, "That is why you'll never see me in Indonesia...WAY too many Muslims!"
At this, the Muslim man turned around and responded politely,
"Why don't
you go to Hell?", he asked, "I heard there's NO Muslim THERE!"
