O Allah, Lord of the Worlds,
You are The Only One,
The One who supplies the earth with air,
keeps the trees green and fresh,
beautifies blooming flowers and evergreen,
providing love in the hearts of a mother and her beloved infant,
securing every neurons with DNA information..
O Ar-Rafeequl 'Ulaa...
this little heart of mind is sick.
It longs for Love and Mercy.
It yearns for Companionship built upon no conditions.
O Habeeb...
this heart misses you so,
until nights go so slow,
as heart aches when mind remembers you and your companions.
O Habeeb,
Love for You, ignites fire for Life.
Love for you, brings peace and serenity,
despite chaos and tribulations all around.
O Allah,
make this filthy self show the true love for Habeeb,
through actions, not speech,
through salawat, every second of life.
O Allah,
do make me among the Ikhwan..
who loves Habeeb, despite not meeting him before.
Make me remember him and his family and companions,
their sacrifices and virtues,
their actions and pure hearts...
And when my time to return to You has come,
do make me among those whose Taubah You have received
and do make me among those whom You allow to meet the Habeeb.
Allahumma solli wa sallim wa baarik 'alaik wa
'alaa aalihi..
Even if this heart is as hard and cold as stone,
with water, it shall erode,
with dzikr, it can soften,
with salawat, it can shine..
... and loving you, O Habeeb, means loving Him, Ar Rafeequl 'Ulaa.
